This activity is jointly provided by the Academy of Forensic Nursing (AFN) and Texas A&M University (TAMU).

The Academy of Forensic Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

A maximum of 23.5 nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours is available for participants who are registered for and successfully complete the conference requirements.

Requirements for Awarding Credit

To receive the full 23.5 contact hours, participants must:

  • Register for the conference.

  • Attend all required conference sessions in their entirety.

  • Sign in and/or verify attendance for each session or event, as instructed.

  • Complete the required conference evaluation and any additional post-activity requirements by the stated deadline.

Partial credit will not be awarded. Participants who do not attend all required sessions or who do not complete the attendance verification and evaluation requirements will not be eligible to receive continuing education credit.
