Day 1- Saturday, March 13th, 2027- DEPART US
Guests will make their own arrangements to depart the US for an overnight flight in order to arrive in London by 3:00 pm on Sunday March 14th. Overnight flight.
Day 2- Sunday, March 14th, 2027- LONDON
Welcome to London! Upon arrival in London, please make your way to the Radisson Blu Euston Station on Grafton Street. At 3:00 pm, our group will enjoy a city tour of London, taking in the city's most famous sites. The tour will conclude at a restaurant close to our hotel where we will have a welcome dinner and orientation. Overnight London (D)
Day 3- Monday, March 15th, 2027- LONDON
This morning we will enjoy breakfast in the hotel prior to our first professional visit to The Havens. The Havens are a network of specialist sexual assault referral Centers (SARCs) managed by the King' College Foundation Trust and jointly funded by NHS England and the Metropolitan Police Service. The Havens are internationally recognized as the gold standard of care and today they will open their doors to our group for a special program with their staff and leadership. In the late afternoon and evening, guests will enjoy time at leisure. Overnight London. (B)
Day 4-Tuesday, March 16th, 2027- LONDON
Breakfast in hotel. Morning presentation by members of the UK Association of Forensic Nurses and Paramedics. After time for lunch on our own, we are off to Southwark, across the River Thames to visit the Florence Nightingale Museum, to celebrate the life and work of the world's most famous nurse. After examining the history of nursing, we will visit the Old Operating Theater and Herb Garrett at Saint Bart's Hospital

Day 5- Wednesday, March 17th, 2027 -LONDON-EDINBURGH
This morning we are up early to enjoy a quick breakfast prior to us departing for Edinburgh, Scotland via train from Euston Station. Upon arrival in Edinburgh, we will be met by private coach and enjoy a city tour including a visit to the Edinburgh Castle. Remainder of day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Edinburgh (B)
Day 6-Thursday, March 18th, 2027-EDINBURGH-GLASGOW
After breakfast in our hotel, we are off to a presentation by the Director of the Navigators of the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit. The Scottish Violence Reduction Unit is a pioneering program that has placed forensic nurses and specialists in hospitals as one of its 3 pillars to reduce violence. Our hosts will lead our group in a behind the scenes tour and presentation. Then, in the afternoon, we will journey to Glasgow to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to see the Navigators in action, as well as to visit Glasgow's only SARC. Return to Edinburgh. Day 7-Friday, March 19th, 2027-EDINBURGH
This morning, we will once again take the short journey to Glasgow for a seminar by The Salvation Army on the state of Human Trafficking. After this compelling presentation, our group will have time on their own for lunch and to explore Glasgow. After lunch, we will be treated to a presentation by the faculty of The University of Strathclyde's Forensic Science program. The University of Strathclyde's forensics program is the number 1 program in the UK and we will have an opportunity to tour their labs. Following program, we will return to Edinburgh where we will have the balance of the afternoon at leisure. No trip to Scotland would be complete without an authentic Scottish evening. Tonight we will enjoy a sumptuous dinner with bagpipes, dance and entertainment on our last night in Edinburgh. Overnight Edinburgh. (B,D)
Day 8- Saturday, March 20th, 2027-EDINBURGH TO LONDON
After an early breakfast in our hotel, we will board our motorcoach for our transfer to the train station and our train trip to London. Upon arrival in London, we will be transferred to our hotel. Remainder of the afternoon for free time in London. We will gather at 7 pm for our transfer to our Farewell Dinner. Overnight London (B,D)
Day 9-Sunday, March 21st, 2019-LONDON TO US
Breakfast in hotel. Guests to individually arrange their return transfers to London Heathrow for return to the US.
