Valerie Lagier is the Conservateur en Chef en charge du Musée Franco-Americain de Blérancourt, and the author of multiple books on the work of Anne Morgan and the Women of CARD.

Lagier's work uses personal correspondance, diaries, scrapbooks as well as the Museum's own archives to chronicle American volunteerism in devastated France during the Interwar period.
