Mr. Guerra is President and CEO of Jose I. Guerra, Inc. His engineering expertise spans a wide range of project types, including commercial, industrial, municipal, institutional and health care. With over 3 decades of engineering design and project management experience, he has a proven ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams successfully through the design and construction administration process. During his career, Rick has served as a Professional Engineer, Project Manager, and Managing Principal on hundreds of complex building projects. These experiences have enabled him to provide the leadership and oversight that drive Jose I. Guerra, Inc.’s continued success and distinguished reputation.

Mr. Guerra is a native Austinite and loyal Longhorn. As evidenced by the ways he spends his time, his passions are his faith, family, people and the engineering profession. He stays very active in his church, his community and various activities with his wife and 4 children, while continuing to promote the engineering profession and grow a successful business.
